Survey Control Information
LOJIC has established and maintains an approximate two-mile grid of consistent geodetic control throughout Jefferson County for use in:
- complying with control requirements for subdivisions in section 7.4.40 of the Louisville Metro Land Development Code
- public and private surveying, engineering and construction projects
- maintaining elevation references for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
- providing consistent horizontal/vertical control for future LOJIC GIS mapping projects
Latest Update:
2024 Update: Jacobi, Toombs and Lantz, Inc. (JTL) recovered 5 existing monuments and set 2 new control monuments.
