Purpose
To store current Jefferson County property data. Maintenance is carried out by PVA staff using Parcel Administrator software and workflow tools developed by Sidwell, Inc.
Description
Polygon layer that contains all the land parcels inventoried by the Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) of Jefferson County, Kentucky, and all associated attributes and annotation. This layer is routinely maintained by the office of the PVA staff in order to reflect current property records.

Parcel Identification Number (PIN): 12 character parcel number (block, lot, sublot). Rights-of-way have either a SROW or RROW lot id per street right-of-way or railroad right-of-way.
Parcelid of land parcel prior most recent change in boundary.
Two digit designation to facilitate query of parcel types; 12 = Railroad ROW, 15 = Interstate ROW, 16 = Street ROW, 30 = Indeterminite Land, 70 = Community Improvement District (CID), 0 = Parcel.
First four characters of Parcelid; represent aggregation of parcels from a subdivision.
Second four characters from Parcelid; represents a unique land parcel within a Block.
Third four characters in Parcelid; often used to uniquely identify a land parcel, lease-hold, or condominium within a Block and Lot.
Combined Block and Lot characters from Parcelid.
Combined Block and Lot characters from HistoricPIN.
Block characters from HistoricPIN.
Lot characters from HistoricPIN.
Sublot characters from HistoricPIN.
Category of Parcel_Type; first digit of Parcel_Type; 1 = Right-Of-Way, 3 = Indeterminite Land, 7 = CID.
Subtype of Parcel_Type; 2 = Railroad, 5 = Interstate, 6 = Street.
Land Record Serial Number; unique identifier of parcel polygons.
Total number of condo or moblie units.
Date of transaction on the deed.
